Video project Review

This assignment although valid and interesting did not pertain, in my opinion, to this class’s  goals. A VIDEO project about technology’s role in communication teaches me nothing how to write in the professional world. This project was about the advantages and disadvantages of technology’s use in communication, and I did not learn even the slightest thing about technical WRITING. What was it we were suppose to be doing? Oh yea, TECHNICAL  WRITING. Maybe we should try doing some of that? And this assignment, all be it a writing assignment, is not in the slightest bit useful. In my mind technical writing is projects that are useful in the professional realm, such as business letters, applications, resumes, and quarterly reports. Hell maybe even a few project summaries. So why are we spending all of our time on talking about the effects of technology on communication when we just need to be learning how to communicate.

Cruzer Flash Drive Press Release

The new Cruzer USB flash drive will give the ability to quickly and easily transfer data from one computer system to another in a stable, reliable, storage medium. This tough, light weight, data storage device uses the latest style of interface to increase data transfer speeds. The drive is also U3 equiped, meaning it can be customized to include gaming, video player, and other software depending on the owners needs and preferances. This drive is also compatible with all major types of operating systems, including PC and Macintosh.

Internal Report on Client Meeting

Client: John Branson

Mr. Branson is planning to end his engagement to another client, Julianne Parker, and is seeking to liquidate certain jointly held assets between the two of them without notifying Mrs. Parker. Per company policy a notification of movement on these assets will be sent to Mrs. Parker, but in protection of Mr. Branson’s confidentiality no information on his actions will be disclosed.

Water Quality Lab Use

• The Biological team has less equipment that is also less sophisticated which will make lab clean up go quicker.
• The Chemical teams resarch will go faster but they have more sophisticated equipment making lab clean up a more lengthy process.
• Both teams are at the same stage in reaserch.
• Neither team has priority on lab use.
• The Biological teams reasarch will last a longer period of time.
• Both teams cannot occupy the lab at the same time.
• Biological team has more supporters for first use of the lab.
